Ingrid is safe! She is sheltering in a co-workers condo in the northwest corner of the Island. As many of you have seen, the devastation in Maui is incomprehensible. This photo was taken with her grand daughter, Charlotte during a 2020 visit and they stood in front of the now charred banyan tree. Ingrid lived in the heart of Front street and was forced to leave everything behind including her precious dog, Nina. The next days will be very difficult to navigate as she has lost everything except the clothes on her back and her Jeep. Her daughters plan on sending her a care package in the next days for some more immediate needs but she will have to restart her whole life somewhere. Many have reached out to check on her and asked how they can help.
