Our family needs help to have our dad's ashes tested.

There is reason to believe they are not his.

I'm also seeking justice for our dad, either by hiring a PI, filing a Wrongful Death lawsuit and / or Police Misconduct.

His remains were identified, Oct 2021. His case is still open because his cause of death on his death certificate says “undetermined”.

He went missing around April 2006. I don’t believe he walked alone from Westport to Branscomb Rd. where his remains were found, May 7, 2020.

His dog “Justice” was found on the property in Westport by my brother Ryan. It’s true, her name was “Justice”. And his two vehicles were found there too. The Sheriffs towed them off July 26, 2006. The property on Howard Creek Ranch Rd. at the time was owned by James DeNoyer who now lives in Placer County.

Dad would not leave his dog unless something happened to him on the Westport property. Then he was moved to the location where his “remains” were found. This is my theory.

In the Branscomb area DeNoyer had a horse pasture. Who also went to trial for animal abuse. "The malnourished horses were seized in December 2005 following a six-month investigation." They were seized from Westport & Branscomb. And it was a mistrial. How convenient!

The Missing Person Report was filed by my brother Ryan (I have a copy) on May 24, 2006. Press Release about dad's remains being identified says the report was filed on July 24, 2006. Shouldn't those dates match? Search warrant was conducted July 26, 2006.

Also dad’s remains were identified by dental records according to the MCSD Press Release in Nov 2021, when I found out. Why did that take over a year to ID him when his dental records were readily available since day one?!?! I know because I tracked the records down and had them sent to the Sheriffs in 2006.

And since there is a statute of limitations on filing a Wrongful Death Lawsuit in CA, of two years, I’m already behind. Because I have until May 7, 2022, less than a year, to find a lawyer that can file by then!

And / or find a lawyer for Police Misconduct because they won’t go after the person of interest when dad went missing in 2006! Which is the same POI who is the nephew of Donald Cavanaugh, who went missing in 2005.

INJUSTICE is wrong PERIOD! I don’t care what your race is, male or female, where you come from, age, poor or rich, etc.

This is injustice of a different sort, than what is currently in the media.

People think we have closure because dad’s “remains” were identified, Oct 2021? We don’t! We won’t until his family and friends get him, JUSTICE!

Love, Lisa

My birthday wish…

I miss you so much dad. I’m so sorry your life was taken way too soon. So much I wanted to share especially when I got pregnant for the first time.

You went missing before I had a chance to tell you.

That is why Landon’s middle name is David.

You would have absolutely adored your grandkids. You would have taught Landon about cars like you did with Ryan. And Lillian has the artist bug. Like you, Ryan & I.

I have your ashes but there is reason to believe they may not be yours. So, for my birthday, I’m going to try and raise the money to have them tested.

I have to know for sure that they are yours before we can have a celebration of life.

And prosecute if they aren’t yours.

❤️ HOPE & JISTICE,

Lisa
