My name is Sammy, and my life revolves around helping animals, helping people, and music.
On 8/4/21, my vehicle was broken into, and the guitar I have been traveling and writing with for nearly a decade, my portable PA, microphones, mic stands, cables, etc, were all stolen.
All of this gear is primarily used to help me volunteer and fundraiser for animal sanctuaries. I started running a free kitchen, which offers healthy, plant-based meals at these fundraising events, and have goals of setting up at homeless encampments around the Twin Cities, so we can bring some delicious and healthy food to those in need. This is all on my own dime, and I don't recover my investment. It's simply my way to try to help make the world a better place.
A damper has been put on these goals... After our last fundraising event, which raised nearly $1,000 for Rooster Redemption Animal Sanctuary, I lost pretty much everything that helped me put these events on.
I'm asking today for your help. Please help me recover what I lost, so I can continue my mission, and help raise money for Sanctuaries, and continue this free kitchen.
I cannot afford to keep doing this kitchen until I can replace this gear. I have never been one to ask for financial help, but if it will allow me to continue to help others, I think it's a worthy cause... Thank you for your consideration. Much love. 🖤
