To everyone in our community,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to share that our beloved, sweet and creative 10-year-old boy Ayden has recently lost his mom unexpectedly. She was just 34 years old—a young, loving, and devoted mother whose life ended far too soon.
Ayden is now being raised by his dad, Joseph Smaragdas, A well known and respected man in this community who is doing everything he can to provide a sense of comfort and stability during this incredibly difficult time. As you can imagine, adjusting to the thought of a life without his mother is not going to be easy.
Despite the pain he’s going through, Ayden continues to show incredible resilience. He’s a bright, kind-hearted kid who loves school, soccer, drawing, and anything with wheels. Cars are his favorite—he can name almost every make and model! His intelligence is unmatched.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to help support Ayden’s future, as his mother sadly did not and could not leave him with anything.
All donations will go toward things like school supplies for the upcoming year, clothing, extracurricular activities like soccer and art, and eventually savings for his future education. It’s our hope to lift some of the financial burden off his father’s shoulders as they both navigate this next chapter together.
