Dear friends and compassionate strangers, I am reaching out during a deeply challenging time for my husband and me. We recently relocated to Alaska, seeking a new beginning, when unforeseen hardships struck.
After losing our jobs and medical complications, my husband fell seriously ill, impacting his pancreas and liver and leading to a critical hospital stay. The journey has been difficult, with him overcoming liver issues and now battling high ammonia levels.
While he’s showing signs of recovery, the many expenses are mounting, and I am struggling to maintain our home and stability as a single-income household during the harsh Alaskan winter.
