Our family is facing an unimaginable heartbreak.
On Saturday, August 8, 2026, our beloved 16-year-old Samuel Ojeda had his young life cut short in a senseless act of violence at a gathering in Catlett, Virginia.
Samuel was only 16 years old—a son, a brother, a grandson ,a nephew and a friend with his entire future ahead of him. No family should ever have to experience the sudden and violent loss of a child. As the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office continues its investigation to find the person responsible, our immediate focus is on bringing Samuel home and giving him the dignified memorial and funeral service he deserves.
