*This is a call for emergency financial assistance for repairing a vehicle.
On Saturday, 11.12.23, Freddie & Bella Losambe’s car (a 2008 Toyota Camry, affectionately called B-MO) started making monster noises and smoking. Insurance was able to get it to a great mechanic and cover 1 ride for Bella to work.
Unfortunately there is a long list of repairs that need to be made. The good news is that the mechanics are working on it and should have it ready for the road by tomorrow (11.13.2023) evening, but there is a need for help covering the cost of the repairs.
The cost for the repairs is $1,400, and the goal for this crowdfunding is $1,500 providing a little extra to help cover the fee that Spot Fund charges to process donations.
Bella: “Recently, I began working at the same place as Freddie. While this has been great for transportation, our car is the only transportation we have to and from work. Without it, Lyft is approximately $46 one way without tip, and we can’t afford that transportation cost. Any and all donation amounts are greatly appreciated and will help us to be able to make it to work and continue to stay afloat.”
