My friend Shilo (a huge animal lover) is fostering this 8 year old shepherd mix, Athena. The dog was dumped by the owner and has had a pretty rough life. Shilo is fostering her with her own money and time. But Athena is now in need of emergency surgery for getting painful crystals removed from her bladder. She was left untreated by the previous owner. She is unable to relieve herself and is suffering with nausea. I have been with this sweetheart at the vets office all morning.  She will be up for adoption, once we get her healthy and feeling loved. The surgery is happening tonight at 6pm. If you can't donate, please at least  pray for this super sweet girl. 🙏
