Help Me Launch a Food Truck to Feed My Family & Fuel a Mission
Hi, my name is Jay Arce, and I’m reaching out with a dream that’s close to my heart — one that’s rooted in love for my family, compassion for my community, and a desire to serve.
I’m raising funds to start a food truck business — not just to provide for my family, but to create something that gives back in meaningful ways. This isn’t just a business idea; it’s a calling.
Why a Food Truck?
Cooking has always been a passion of mine. I attended culinary school in New York and completed my program. When I got married and moved to California almost 20 years ago, my life took a different turn, but I never stopped dreaming that one day I would return to my passion. My cooking brings people together, creates memories, and provides comfort. With a food truck, I see the opportunity to:
Support my family through honest, hard work.
Serve meals to the homeless in our community on a regular basis, so no food ever goes to waste.
Sponsor kids from our church so they can attend summer camps and youth retreats — experiences that can change their lives.
I envision this food truck being more than a business — I want it to be a mobile ministry of hope, nourishment, and encouragement.
What I Need Help With
Starting a food truck takes upfront investment — from purchasing the vehicle, outfitting it with kitchen equipment, licensing, insurance, and initial supplies. I’ve been saving what I can, but to truly get this off the ground, I need help.
I’m asking for your support through monetary donations — whether big or small — to help make this dream a reality.
How Your Donation Will Help:
Purchase and outfit a safe, reliable food truck
Cover permits, licenses, and startup costs
Provide meals to those in need
Help kids attend church camps and experience positive mentorship
Support a family working hard to build something meaningful
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. With your help, I believe we can turn this vision into something that truly blesses others.
Much love and gratitude,
Jay Arce
