Hello Crooks, Club Associates, Friends, and Supporters,
I rarely reach out for help, but I feel like we have the chance to help a couple who have gone above and beyond for both the local San Jose community and the car community. Devorah Duncan has once again, been faced with a battle against cancer. For those who do not know her personally, her work speaks for itself. She has helped countless children in the Alum Rock School District, not only with her time but financially as well. To say she is more than a teacher, principal, and friend is an understatement. Her priority has always been to ensure that the migrant families that reside in San Jose have the brightest possible future through community, encouragement, and a stellar education.
Devorah's partner, Mike King, has been an announcer for decades at racetracks across the country, locally Laguna Seca/Monterey. He has been a wonderful friend to the car community and has continued to make this passion of ours the very thing it is today. He has always supported us, and now is as good a time as any, to help return the favor in a time of need.
