My mother was basically bedridden  for months as she suffered from Cervical cancer. As the sole financial provider for my household I was forced to leave my mother home alone in order to provide. Here's where Ms.Linda stepped in... Ms. Linda lives around the corner from us, and over the past 2 years, she and my mother have formed a beautiful friendship. And when my mother's health begun to decline rapidly, Ms. Linda did not hesitate to step up, and help out. Ms.Linda is a retired widow, who is also disabled, an active member in her church where she devotes her time to volunteering atleast 4 days out of the week. Ms.Linda was at my house everyday, acting as not only a companion, but also a caregiver for my mother while I was away at work. This  provided me a peace of mind that my mother wasn't all alone. Ms.Linda did all of this while going through her own struggles, currently she is being removed from the home she once shared with her family. And due to her limited resources is unable to afford a place by herself. On Friday January 26, 2024 my mother's suffering ended, and she went to be with the Lord... but in honor of my mother who was a selfless giver, I want to ensure that Ms.Linda has a safe place to call HOME... Ms.Linda is a GOOD woman, she treated my mom like family. I know finding her a safe place is what my mother would have wanted, I feel it in my heart.
