Help Us Build a Safe and Supportive Future for Mila and Our Family

Hello, my name is George, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most challenging times in my family's life.

I am a father raising my daughters, Mila and Madison. Mila has mild autism spectrum disorder and is a wonderful, loving child who benefits from routine, structure, and a supportive environment. My goal is to provide her with the safe, stable home she deserves while also caring for my family through difficult financial and health challenges.

I currently live on a fixed income and have been unable to work due to ongoing health issues, including serious dental problems and related infections. I continue to pay for my medical and dental care as best I can, but these expenses make it difficult to address the many other needs facing our family.

One of our biggest goals is adding an additional bedroom to our home so Mila can have a room of her own. Our home currently has only three bedrooms, and having a dedicated space would provide her with a quieter, more predictable environment where she can sleep, learn, relax, and manage sensory overload when needed.

Safety is one of our biggest concerns for Mila. She loves being outdoors and exploring, and she often wants to go all over our 0.9-acre property. Because of this, we are working to create safer outdoor spaces where she can play, learn, and enjoy being outside while remaining protected. Our goal is to provide secure areas, sensory-friendly activities, and a safe environment that allows her to explore while giving our family greater peace of mind.

We also hope to create a sensory-friendly space designed around Mila's needs. This includes a sensory-friendly bedroom setup, a pod-style sensory bed, and a safe outdoor play area where she can enjoy activities that help with emotional regulation, exercise, and development.

In addition to the bedroom addition, our home needs important repairs and improvements. We hope to repair and improve the roof, update the garage, and renovate our kitchen to create a cleaner, safer, and more functional environment for our family. These improvements will help make our home more secure and supportive for both Mila and Madison.

Reliable transportation is another important need. Having dependable transportation will allow us to attend appointments, school activities, therapy services, and other essential commitments without constant worry.

Our family also has dogs that are an important part of Mila's life. She enjoys helping care for them and spending time with them every day. We are trying to provide proper veterinary care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services so that our animals remain healthy and well cared for.
