Hello! I’m Melissa Tallman, proudly representing Minnesota as Miss Itasca 2025. I'm honored to be part of the Miss Minnesota Class of 2025—a program that celebrates service, scholarship, and leadership.

My Community Service Initiative, Green Sprouts, empowers youth through hands-on gardening and sustainability education. We aim to cultivate a love for nature, teach essential life skills, and foster community engagement.
A bit about me: I recently graduated from Hamline University with three degrees and serve as Vice President of the Hamline Midway Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting equity and neighborhood vitality. I'm passionate about inspiring young people to grow—both in their gardens and in their communities.
