Hi,
I'm Art Ballard just a regular dad and small business owner. On Saturday, April 2nd, I embark on my first leg of a journey to help the refugee families of Ukraine so brutally ousted from their homeland by the Russian Army. the latest count is over 4 million refugees have left the country with millions more behind them. Most of these are women and children while able bodied men 18-60 stay behind to defend their country.
I arrive in Warsaw, Poland on Sunday April 3rd, to buy as many supplies as I think can fit into my rented motorhome. From Warsaw, I will drive 200 miles to the border town of Pzremsyl.
The list of supplies needed is long, but my initial products will be water, diapers, toothpaste, wet wipes, stuffed animals, cleaning supplies, and candy for the kids. Once at the border I hope to spend some time volunteering with the World Central Kitchen to help with serving meals and provding transportation as needed. I am alos trying to find a non-profit to vet me so I can do some things others can't.
Many of you have heard about my trip and been supportive in so many ways. I apprecaite anything you can spare right now. I return home on April 18th. Thanks so much for your kindness and your donations.
All the Best,
Art Ballard
