On the morning of Sunday, February 8th the Suarez Family lost their home and all of their possessions due to a house fire in Damascus MD. A fire set the 2nd story of their home in flames, and quickly spread to their attic and main level. Thankfully everyone was able to escape the home. Mr. & Mrs. Suarez were taken to Washington DC to be treated for their burns by ambulance. Their 6 year old twins were able to escape unharmed but very scared. They escaped the home in their pajamas only.
Due to his injuries, Mr. Suarez is now out of work until he is healed from his burns on his body, he is currently the only income due to Mrs. Suarez having some health issues. The funds raised will help the Suarez Family with temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, making necessary repairs, and covering the cost of food while they recover from this loss. The family have been Damascus residents for over 20 years and we would love to show them our support. Every contribution BIG or SMALL will help them have some normalcy and peace of mind during this horrible time.
