I never thought I would be making a post like this.
For those who don’t know, I am a survivor of domestic violence and a mother trying to rebuild her life after experiencing things no family should ever have to endure. For safety reasons, I cannot share all of the details publicly, nor can I share my children’s names.
The last incident almost cost me my life.
Since then, I have fought every single day to keep moving forward. I’ve battled homelessness, financial hardship, trauma, injuries, missed work, and the emotional toll that comes with trying to start over from nothing. I recently began rebuilding my life, secured transportation, found employment, and started focusing on my health again. For the first time in a long time, I felt hopeful.
Unfortunately, the financial damage left behind has made it incredibly difficult to relocate my family to safety. My goal is to leave the state and finally give my children the stable, peaceful life they deserve.
I hate asking for help. If you know me, you know I’ve always tried to figure things out on my own. But right now, I can’t do this alone.
Any donation, no matter how small, helps with relocation expenses, transportation, temporary housing, food, utilities, and the costs of starting over.
