I am writing to you today to share an exciting opportunity I have with my church. I have been given the chance to go on a mission trip with Ecuador with my youth group this spring break. The reason I am writing to you is because I would love to ask for your support on my upcoming mission.
While we are down in Ecuador, we will be working to improve a camp that does retreats for kids, adults, and everyone in between. On top of improving the camp, we will be going to a cafe that also is a home for orphaned or houseless boys and plan to hang out with them and support the cafe however need be.
This mission trip will be my first ever one so it holds a special place in my heart. It's particularly meaningful because I feel like I am walking in my Grandma Connie's shoes. She was always going on mission trips and I hope to help people like she did one day and I know that this is the first step. By going on this trip, I know I can make a small but meaningful difference in someone's life, and also my own.
In order for me to make this trip, I would love your help. The total cost of my trip is $1600. This money will go to my travel, accommodations, food, and more.
