Dr. Mona D. Ballayan was diagnosed with the most aggressive types of Brain Cancer January 2022: Glioblastoma Multiforme.
Mona was the true example of strength, courage, resilience, and perseverance. She said, “I want to be present until I am no longer able to be present.” She underwent two craniotomies, and a total of 6 toxic and nontoxic treatments to aid her in combatting the monster in her head as she called it. She fought for 14 months and by month 12, the growing tumors left her completely paralyzed on the left side of her body. The miracle was how she never complained, was so polite, full of love, and supernatural in her strength and ability to endure what was out of her control.
While she was facing this great battle, all she thought about was helping her family and ensuring that they would be okay after her departure. She left many instructions for me (her brother) to fulfill for her even after she is gone. I promise you all I will honor her here and after. We have more expenses than we can fathom ahead of us. Mona was also our mother’s caretaker. We are asking for any contribution that leads your heart to help us fulfill her desires. Anything, we will be filled with gratitude. We thank you for the support and coming along with us on her journey from human to spirit. We will miss her vessel/body tremendously but above all, we will miss the SPIRIT expressed through that vessel. Rise High Angel. Rise High 🕊️
