They have arrived!! Anastasiia and her two sons have finally arrived in Ayamonte, Spain. After several train rides across the whole of Europe, they are safe and sound in the loving home of one of their friends. They were greated at the train station with open arms and are quickly settling in. Spanish lessons are in the near future. Let's pray for an end to this horrific invasion and for their entire family being together safe and sound soon. Every dime of your donations made it to this family. Even Western Union and Dime Bank played their part and waived all transaction fees to all Ukrainian refugees and fast tracked funds availability. Thanks to you all, Anastasiia and her two sons can create a new life in another country together.  I hope this ends your weekend with very warm thoughts. You are all such beautiful people and represent nothing but the good in this sometimes difficult world we live in.  Peace. Stay tuned for pictures coming soon. 

It's been almost a week since Anastasiia and her two sons left for the the border of Turkey. Today, after a short 3K walk, they safely crossed the border and are now on a train to Budapest thanks to you all. The fundraising you provided will be enough to help pay for their their needs when they arrive in Spain and set up a new home. Anastasiia told me she will be forever grateful, and will always remember your kindness and generosity for the rest of her life.  We pray for her husband and everyone else who is who is left still fighting for their country. Pray for and end to this heinous situation and and end to all dictators that place their own personal greed above the safety and welfare of our world. Thank you once again everyone. Peace!!

First of all, I want to thank everyone for opening up your hearts to help Anastasiya's family. You all should be very proud of yourselves. We did this at just the right moment. Today they left as the Russian invasion began to take over their coastal city, Mycolaiv, next door to Mauripol. A cancer treatment hospital with cancer patients, 11 schools and 8 kindergartens were destroyed last night.  She said goodbye to her husband, took the children and left. Here is a note from Anastasiya to you all.  We did it. She is on her way to Spain with enough funds to get there with her family. Safe Travels Anastasiya!!!

"Hello Jay! In the morning we left the city, they shelled us all night, we drove with fear, but it was dangerous to stay any longer. In a few days we will reach the western Ukraine to the border. I will go to Spain, our clients, like you, are ready to help me with the children. I never thought that on my way I would meet so many kind and helpful people with big heart! My heart bleeds that I have to leave my country and husband. But my soul is overflowing with warmth and love for everyone who helped our family!"
