Help Moriah Reunite With Her Family

I’m Moriah, and I’m asking for help getting from California to Missouri so I can reunite with my family and begin a new chapter of healing with them. I’m a recovered fentanyl addict, and I’ve been clean for three years. That journey has changed my life. While I was incarcerated, I became a firefighter, and for the first time in a long time, I found real self-worth and a sense of purpose. Since then, I’ve worked hard to keep moving forward. My family and I are reconciling, and they want me near them so we can rebuild, grow, and be together again. After my mother passed away, she left me a small inheritance, but while I was incarcerated, my storage was sold off and personal effects were lost, which led to identity theft. I lost that inheritance and have been fighting the financial institution for months without success.

Right now, I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be welcomed home. I have my own vehicle, room for my belongings, and I’ll be bringing my little fish, Stevie, with me. What I need help with are the travel expenses to make the trip safely. Your support will help cover tires for my car, an oil change, gas, food, and two nights of lodging along the way.
