Hello. My family has always been animal lovers. My wife has been a lover of polydactyls. When a litter of them became available, we drove about 30 minutes to the SPCA at Truckee and picked 2, plus a Russian Blue for me. My youngest picked a solid black. This group became known as the Muckers. They hang together and run "a muck" as a group. There was a group sneeze starting. We tried a nose relief off the shelf for 1 day, which got them some rest but that was all. I took them to the ER walk-in. Diagnosed with a possible Upper Respiratory Infection, the vet asked if I wanted all test and meds. Yes, they cannot take care of themselves. $650/kitten later, they are only 13 months old, our budget took a big hit. The insurance hit us with a $500 deductable per kitten and we got back $92. Yes, I adopted them and they are my resposibility, but nobody expects a $2600 vet bill in one visit.

Their names are Slinkie, that is how he moves around. He is a gray tux and a Poly on the front paws. Toezee is a Tuxedo and poly on all 4. Truffles is the lovebug Russian Blue. Binx, yes after the movie is the solid black.

Please. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU.
