O SI YO Peace and greeting to all! This fundraiser was created to raise money for a historical sign revision and or replacement sign to be placed at the Scott Zion Baptist church cemetery. We as the descendants of the Scott and Hill indigenous Native American families and Buffalo Ridge Cherokee tribal community, want to make sure the history is preserved for generations and ever more.. so we have come together in agreement , descendants, Pastor and church congregations, DHR, Amherst museum and historical society, and UCITOVA that the sign shall be revised to reflect the history of those indigenous Native Americans/ land and farm owners that came together to establish institutions such as Scott Zion after reconstruction to continue autonomy upon their tribal lands…whatever you can donate to this historical signage revision, will be greatly appreciated!
