Help Musab Ahmed and His Family Survive the War in Gaza

Hello, my name is Musab Ahmed, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has turned into a daily struggle for survival.

Since the beginning of this war, everything we once knew has been destroyed. Bombings shake our neighborhoods day and night. The sound of explosions has become so constant that we can no longer sleep peacefully, and fear follows us every moment. Each night we lie awake, praying that the next strike does not fall on our home.

My family and I barely have food to eat. Many days, we go to bed hungry because we cannot afford even the simplest meals. Clean water is scarce, and we face long hours with no electricity. The war has not only destroyed buildings—it has stolen our safety, our peace, and our ability to live like human beings.

The bombing is everywhere. Entire streets have been reduced to rubble, homes have collapsed, and families like mine are left with nothing but the will to keep going. Children cry themselves to sleep out of hunger and fear. Mothers and fathers do their best to comfort their families, but deep down we are all broken.

Despite all this, we try to hold onto hope. We dream of a day when we can live without fear, when we can rebuild our lives, and when our children can go back to school instead of hiding from airstrikes.

Today, I am reaching out to you for help. Your support can make the difference between hunger and food, between despair and hope. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us survive this dark time.

Please stand with us. Please help us find light in the middle of this darkness.

With gratitude,

Musab Ahmed, Gaza

Hello, my dearest friends

šŸ˜‡

. This is your friend Musab. I want to share with you what I am going through and what lies ahead. Currently, I am struggling with the restrictions in Gaza and the scarcity of resources and job opportunities; yet, despite this, we do not give up and keep trying to make a life for ourselves. I live in a rented place, which is barely a house, really, with a roof made of corrugated metal sheets. It turns into an oven in the summer and a shower in the winter, as water leaks in. Throughout the summer, my main worry was how to cover the rent, which is around $800 USD. The house is located near the border, close to the Yellow Line, so I face gunfire daily, and the lives of my siblings and myself are constantly at risk. I cannot bear the thought of losing another family member after my father; I simply couldn't handle it. Now, as winter approaches, I try my best to shield my mother and siblings from the rain and keep them warm, as they are the most precious things I have. Winter is incredibly harsh for us, but we do not surrender; we keep trying.

I am reaching out to share exactly what kind of support would make the greatest difference for my family right now. If you can help us financially, any contribution would go directly toward covering our rent, buying a large tarp or cover for our roof, winter clothes for my siblings and me, and firewood for heating. If you cannot help financially, spreading the word to others who might be able to support us would mean so much as well. Even your kind messages and emotional support lift our spirits during these difficult times.

All I can do right now is ask for your help in whatever way you can. The decline in aid over the past few months has left me burdened with mounting debt. I am responsible for my family following my father's passing, a massive and heavy responsibility, and my only hope is that you will not abandon me.

Hi supporters, a message from Musab--please consider donating to his family:

I hope you are well, my friends. First of all, I would like to thank you for my continuous help and standing by my side. Every small donation from you was making a difference with me and helped me and helping my family to continue living here in Gaza, but in the last period, the donations declined as if the suffering stopped in Gaza, it has not really not ended, and the bombing is still ongoing and the narrowing of the crossings is still ongoing, and because of the continuous suffering and the results of the famine that I examined some vitamins for me and found that I have a very acute shortage in it and providing supplements and vitamins is very difficult because of the current conditions here, but my friend Christine from Canada has not stopped, but my suffering has not stopped yet, I still have brothers and my mother, they also need that, I am not alone, the link is the one who helps me to provide food, clothes and everything necessary

Since the war began, it has destroyed everything we once knew. Bombings shake our neighbourhood day and night, robbing us of sleep and peace. Fear follows us constantly, and every night we pray that the next strike does not hit our home.

My family and I face severe hardship, yet we remain determined. We struggle to afford food and shelter for my cousin’s family after they lost their home. Many nights, we all go to bed hungry because we cannot afford even the simplest meals. We lack clean water, electricity fails often, and the war has taken more than our homes—it has stripped us of safety, peace, and dignity. Bombing surrounds us, reducing entire streets to rubble and collapsing homes, leaving families like mine with nothing but the will to endure. Children cry from hunger and fear, while parents fight to stay strong for them, even as we feel broken inside.

Despite these conditions, we hold onto hope. I am working to open a small café in our camp, which will help us become self-reliant and create a stable source of income for our family. With your support, I can turn this plan into reality and move us closer to stability and dignity.

Your donation can directly ease hunger, support our basic needs, and help us rebuild our lives during this devastating time. Every contribution makes a real difference.
Please stand with us by supporting this campaign and sharing our story, so we can achieve self-reliance and reclaim our right to live with dignity and peace.

With gratitude,

Dear friends, thank you for all your donations and support of Musab and his family. As you I'm sure have seen a bad storm has hit Gaza with cold temperatures and flooding. Our donations were able to provide warm blankets and tarps to Musab's family, but still they are suffering from the cold and flooding—including Musab's baby niece and nephew. Any additional donations you are able to make will help to provide firewood as well food an other necessities. Thank you!

Thank you everyone for your donations! I have been talking with Musab every day and he has received the donations and has been able to provide food for his family and put a roof over their heads as winter is approaching. Even though there is now a ceasefire, aid into Gaza is limited and there is so much families still need to survive and rebuild their lives, and this is where mutual aid comes in. Even a small donation makes a difference--and if you're not able to make another donation please consider sharing Musab's fundraiser on social media.
