Hello, my name is Musab Ahmed, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has turned into a daily struggle for survival.
Since the beginning of this war, everything we once knew has been destroyed. Bombings shake our neighborhoods day and night. The sound of explosions has become so constant that we can no longer sleep peacefully, and fear follows us every moment. Each night we lie awake, praying that the next strike does not fall on our home.
My family and I barely have food to eat. Many days, we go to bed hungry because we cannot afford even the simplest meals. Clean water is scarce, and we face long hours with no electricity. The war has not only destroyed buildings—it has stolen our safety, our peace, and our ability to live like human beings.
The bombing is everywhere. Entire streets have been reduced to rubble, homes have collapsed, and families like mine are left with nothing but the will to keep going. Children cry themselves to sleep out of hunger and fear. Mothers and fathers do their best to comfort their families, but deep down we are all broken.
Despite all this, we try to hold onto hope. We dream of a day when we can live without fear, when we can rebuild our lives, and when our children can go back to school instead of hiding from airstrikes.
Today, I am reaching out to you for help. Your support can make the difference between hunger and food, between despair and hope. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us survive this dark time.
Please stand with us. Please help us find light in the middle of this darkness.
With gratitude,
Musab Ahmed, Gaza
