SevereHipDysplasia

This is my Dallas. My almost 2 year old mix breed puppy. I adopted him from a shelter when he was 8 months old and have only had him for a little over a year now. He is a big ball of energy and has the absolute best personality. I call him my mushy baby. He loves to come up to me no matter what I'm doing and lay his whole body on me so I can give him the best scratches, kiss his little face and hold him close. He has also been the best little brother to my 3 year old German Shepherd Titan. He had woken me out of my sleep at 3 in the morning screaming in pain. He couldn't lay down or get comfortable in any way. He wouldn't eat and he wouldn't drink. He was panting so bad so I took him to the emergency vet. They had to do xrays and it showed severe hip dysplasia. The vet explained that this was the probable cause of a hip fracture when he was young before I adopted him. They said it's so bad that he doesn't even qualify for a hip replacement but can be managed with a surgery called FHO. The cost is $6000.00. I work an average job and make just enough to scrape by and I just had to spend $700 for my German Shephard a week prior due to extreme diarrhea from licking a puddle of water on our walk. Although Titan is now better he is extremely upset since bringing Dallas home. He keeps crying at him, smelling him and has even tried to pick him up with his nose. Please, any help I can get for my puppy would be greatly appreciated. He's far too young and means too much to me and my Titan already that I can't let go of him.
