It has been two and a half years since the devastating news of Jenna’s stage IV metastatic colon cancer diagnosis, which was revealed through a six-hour emergency surgery after her colon perforated.

Jenna’s heart from the very beginning has been to do as many holistic treatments as possible, to keep her body strong and to mitigate the harsh effects of conventional treatments. However, there came a point when her cancer got too aggressive, and her team of doctors agreed at that time, chemotherapy was the only option to slow the cancer down.

Jenna began chemo locally, but when her cancer necessitated, she transitioned care to a specialized oncologist located in Seattle, WA. This required her to travel and receive treatment WEEKLY for the past year and a half… brutal.

To date, she's done 36 rounds of chemotherapy in 2 years.

This past August, her most recent scan revealed underwhelming changes in her overall cancer burden. She found herself experiencing serious complications, compounded harsh side effects, and a severely compromised immune system.

She was at a fork in the road, having to make seemingly impossible decisions about the next steps for her health, and ultimately, her life.

Over the past few months, we observed Jenna at her absolute lowest—physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  As her family, it was heartbreaking to witness.

So, we began to pray…

A NOTE FROM JENNA:

“One of the hardest parts of this journey thus far has been the FEAR. Fear from the word “cancer”, fear from doctors, fear because there is no cure, and they can’t offer hope of any kind. Fear of scans showing it has spread again, fear of chemo, fear of how much time I have left, fear that for the rest of my life, I’ll always live afraid. Afraid I can’t beat it, and if I beat the odds and DO, forever afraid that it will come back.

I can’t live in fear anymore.

I won’t.

I have spent A LOT of time researching, and prayerfully considering, the right path to take. And today, I can confidently say, I have landed in a place of HOPE. I now understand how I got cancer and have been coached on a targeted approach that aims to change the internal terrain of my body— making it inhospitable to cancer.

It requires I take massive action and ownership in three areas:

  1. Diet
  2. Lifestyle
  3. Environment

By making a radical lifestyle change to reduce my toxic load as much as possible, and replenish my body correctly, I believe I can heal— while sustaining my time and energy to do what I want to do most… live!

There are countless success stories (even with stage IV patients like me) who have taken this same road and come out strong and in full remission. They have inspired me that not only does this approach work, but this is possible for me too.

If you want to read more about this in-depth program, you can visit: www.chrisbeatcancer.com

This path will require a total "all in” commitment for the next two years, and a dramatic life change, indefinitely. However, I’ve never been more ready and expectant for my future!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and love- they are what sustains me. Words can’t express how deeply grateful I am for your support!

-Jenna”

Traveling to Seattle every week the last year and a half was a huge burden on our Jenna. To close that chapter, there is a significant financial need of $29,212 to be raised as soon as possible.

Jenna has simplified and downsized her life drastically in preparation for this next phase. She is fully committed to this process and willing to do whatever it takes. But she needs us… her tribe… to rally around her!

As her family, we implore your support of her, as you are able.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

#1) *Spotfund: This *spotfund is the most urgent need to eliminate the immediate debts from Jenna’s weekly travel and treatments from the Seattle cancer center. $29,212 will bring her up-to-date. The other $30,000 that we are seeking on her behalf, is to help assist her in this new healing regimen—all of which will now be 100% out-of-pocket, because insurance does not cover alternative or holistic therapies.

#2) Amazon Wishlist: Or if you prefer, Jenna also made a wish list on Amazon of items she requires in her home and environment in efforts to overhaul her day-to-day toxic burden, as well as several supplements she needs to add to her diet. You can view and contribute toward those here:  https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/22UTV7W890OI7?ref_=wl_share

The reality is Jenna will only be able to proceed with healing treatments, as she has the financial means to cover them. We would move heaven and earth for her, but we can’t do it alone. We need you!

We are convinced this is Jenna’s path forward. We are clinging to God’s faithfulness to see her through, and we believe her best days are still ahead!

To know Jenna is to love her. Let’s set her up for success and show her we are with her and for her!

THANK YOU for your support… it means the world!

All Our Love and Gratitude,

-Jenna’s Family

What a week! I can’t believe 2 weeks ago we learned of my brain tumor, and this time last week I was being re-admitted to the hospital for the surgery last Wednesday morning. 3 days post surgery I was discharged home. My newest niece was born 12/29/23- we both went home from hospital same day and I got to meet her New Years Eve! We brought in the New Year yesterday and bam! Here we are- day 2 into 2024, with 2023 fully closed and behind us and nothing but gratitude and excitement for this new LIFE and new EVERYTHING ahead of me! God has done miracle after miracle and I’m just completely in awe! My surgeon was hoping to remove at least 90% of the tumor but the scans confirm they were successful in removing it in its ENTIRETY! They were also predicting a cut to my vision/loss of vision but I don’t! I can SEE. It’s just a miracle and I’m so very grateful! The healing and road to recovery will be a long, slow 6 weeks- during this window there is still brain swelling, risk of seizures and of course high risk post-op infection. But I plan to OBEY 😉 and do what they say and I believe the Lord’s protection over me will continue and before you know it- LIVING it up like never before! 🥳

I will have a whole new work up and assessment of where cancer markers are at, now that that big ole tumor is out!! Looks like it’ll be around the 15th of the month I’ll do that. But I’m extremely excited and hopeful that this has been the main culprit for quite some time (they think all year- maybe longer) and that now that it’s out, the numbers will reflect minimal cancer left or even nothing at all!!!

I will continue these diet, lifestyle, environment changes and that’s where that confidence comes from. Now that the surgery is done,  I’m just now so happy to finally be able to benefit from all these things! Yay! So I feel it really is a closing of a chapter in every way-surgery and cancer- and stepping into a new life, new start, new health and all sorts of new possibilities! I can’t wait! Thank you all so very very much for walking this almost 3 year cancer journey with me so closely and so full of generosity and love. Your support has been felt daily and I wouldn’t be here without you! So please know how deeply grateful I am for you and how much you mean to me.

Wishing you all the best in 2024!!

Love,

Jenna

Note from Jenna: Thank you ALL so much! It’s been a great week! Those of you who graciously contributed to medical expenses helped me pay off so many things that have been weighing so heavily- THANK YOU for lifting that burden so I can close that chapter once and for all and start this new healing chapter I believe so much in 🩷 And then a HUGE thank you to those who helped set me up with the last of the items from my Amazon Shopping List! I am officially up and running with the things I needed to get started and it feels SO GOOD. My bloodwork this week was the first I wasn’t afraid to go do AND I’m ALREADY seeing these things are making a difference!!! Just in this short time…,I can’t believe it. So it makes me so excited to see where I am in 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, a YEAR! Wow. It’s just so mind boggling to think about. So THANK YOU! Love you all and please know you are my HEROES. My ANGELS. My answer to prayer. Xo-Jenna
