For the last few years, I’ve been fighting my way toward stability — one ride, one dollar, one breath at a time.
After going through a difficult separation and custody battle, I lost more than my home — I lost daily life with my son, Nathan. I couldn’t afford the lawyer I needed, and I’ve been working ever since to rebuild from that heartbreak. I visit him every chance I get, even when it meant spending the little savings I had — because those visits were our lifeline. A few days of joy to keep us both holding on.
Since then, I’ve faced years of housing instability and chronic illness that limits how much I can work. I’ve stayed with family and others when I had nowhere else to go, walking on eggshells to keep the peace and avoid being kicked out. Through it all, I’ve been driving Uber full-time — often past the point of exhaustion — trying to save enough to create a stable home again for myself and Nathan.
Now, I’ve finally been approved for an apartment in South Carolina — near my son. I’ve scraped together enough for the deposit and move-in fees, but I need help to cross the finish line.
Your support will go toward:
🚗 Gas, food, and an oil change for the move
🏡 Catching up on car payments and insurance
🛏️ Basic furniture — a bed for me, and one for my son
I’m not asking for luxury. I just want to make a home — a safe, steady place to rest, to work, and to be the mother Nathan deserves.
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to him.
Thank you for helping me get home to my son.
