Last Thursday, August 24th, my moms house and everything she owed burned down to the ground at no fault of her own. She was asleep and woke up to her entire yard on fire and barely made it out before the entire house before it was engulfed in flames and gone in less than 10 minutes. There will be a lawsuit and we have been waiting for all the paper work from all the responders and trying to find a lawyer. In the meantime she has been staying with a friend and thanks to some community members they have donated clothing and essentials. She was able to find an apartment and will get to move in, in 2 weeks. Unfortunately the lawsuit won't even be close to being finished and she doesn't have the money for upfront deposit and first months rent along with having to pay a monthly rent that she hasn't had to pay in years. She lives off her social security and is also blind in one of her eyes making it hard for her to find work.
If you can find it in your heart to donate to help her get on her feet it would be much appreciated it.
