The goal is to increase the number of minorities involved in the New York marijuana industry. Historically, minorities have paid the highest price for the laws against marijuana. Now we intend to assist individuals in understanding their choices and pursuing their dreams.  

We are seeing patterns emerge in this short history of legalization of the retail marijuana market in the United States. Caucasian males have benefited the most from the opportunities available in the new industry. In comparison, minorities have suffered the most. Minorities have endured a higher rate of arrest, misdemeanors, and felonies associated with the war on drugs, particularly marijuana. In addition, high entry requirements have made it difficult for minorities to participate in the marijuana industry. 

 

Our solution will work with New York State's regulations to create awareness, education the public, and share resources with like-minded organizations. So, minorities can participate in a more significant percentage in the New York market. We aim to increase minority participation by 25% in the New York City and Westchester County areas.

 

Our clients will understand that we are a resource for determining their best path. As a result, clients will feel confident in their new pathway in the marijuana market, creating an atmosphere to help the clients to pursue their dreams.

 

This first round of fundraising of $7,500 will cover the cost of upcoming events and some local advertising for the Bronx, Harlem, and Yonkers, NY. Most professionals in the industry understand the challenges of fundraising in the Marijuana industry, so we decided to use this approach to facilitate our growth.
