The last few years have been rough on everyone. We are no different. In December 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily my treatment went well but of course, lots and lots of medical bills!
in May 2022, my sweet Angus had a stroke due to valley fever. Medical bills again, even though we had insurance.
August 2022, my heart dog, Draega, was diagnosed with oral melanoma. Surgery and treatments, some were covered, some weren’t. Again bills piling up.
Sadly, our Angus was taken from us at 1 year and nine months old. We tried so hard to save him but we were not successful 💔
Draega has fought so hard for the last 15 months, she tore her cruciate and meniscus after X-rays at the oncologist. Then, a respiratory infection, and now she’s not wanting to eat very well at all. X-rays, an abdominal ultrasound and a quick visit with dentistry aren’t showing anything. The next step is a CT. We are maxed out on care credit from all of this, but she needs help. I can’t let her down.
