Help Joshua Heal: Support His Recovery Journey

Hey friends and family, as many of you may or may not know, my fiancee Joshua has been in the hospital on and off for the last week. But consistently since Friday. He’s been out of work since Wednesday and could be out a few more weeks. With that being said we have an almost $2,000 mortgage, car payment, utilities, etc. and any help we can get would definitely be appreciated. Joshua went into the hospital Wednesday and was transferred to another facility in Tulsa, they did an EKG, gave him over the counter meds, and sent him on his way. Only for me to get woken up a few hours after being home to him screaming in pain. And this man has a HIGH tolerance for pain. So I loaded him and Finley into the car around 6 am and raced to the hospital in Owasso. The first place said he had pericarditis, a viral infection. They weren’t sure what caused it though. Well we came to find out he was septic, from pneumonia, which is actually what was CAUSING the pericarditis. So he’s been in the hospital almost a week now, breathing treatments, oxygen, fluids, antibiotics, LOTS of meds. He had a procedure done yesterday to drain all the fluids from his lung because his right lung had filled up completely making it impossible to breathe. We are still waiting on a current ct scan to see if the antibiotics are working. They might have to drain the front of his lungs with a tube in his chest. This will be a long road to recovery and healing. We’re still not even out of the woods yet. But between hospitals, bills, mortgage, gas for me to go to and from all the hospitals multiple times to check on our dog Cooper, and food and what not for me when I’m constantly on the go.
