Hi, my name is Juan and I’m organizing this fundraiser for a kind and humble man named Richard Gonzalez.
I met Richard a few months ago near my local grocery store. Despite being homeless, he greets everyone with a smile and never asks for anything. After talking with him and hearing his story, I knew I had to try and help.
Richard has fallen on hard times through no fault of his own. A series of unfortunate events—including the loss of a job and family support—left him without a home. He’s been living on the streets, doing his best to stay hopeful and safe. What struck me most is that, even in his situation, he always asks how I’m doing. That’s just the kind of person he is.
We’re raising funds to help Richard secure temporary housing, basic necessities, and transportation so he can start looking for work again. Our goal is to give him the foundation he needs to reclaim his life with dignity and stability.
