Have you ever wanted to save the life of another but never had the opportunity? Maybe you have a desire to help others, but your career path has taken is that other than healthcare? Now, here is your chance to do just that.

Please don't let the goal amount push you away. Please read our story and the reasoning behind it as well as other factors. We originally were asking for $750,000.  However, after some things worked out by a healthcare payment plan, things have become a little more affordable, although still a great struggle, but doable. We are trying to get more than we need, so the goal was immediately updated.

Meet the 2 ladies of the Rife family household that bring life to others, but now, they are in need themselves. They, nor I, have ever asked for help before, but now we are at the end of the road with no alternative ways of further treatment or options while being financially bound.

Chaddi, the mom in the picture recently had an emergency room visit with severe, unexplained abdominal pain. Long story short, this visit led to a diagnosis of ovarian torsion and her facing a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The significant issue here is not only health, but she works a grant funded, unbenefited position leaving her lacking financial means of proper treatment and / or time off to be financially stable in the process. We all know right now how grant and federal programs are going – not in a healthy position. Treatments, visits, & surgical option cost are astronomical and loss of income per day off is unsettling out of pocket. She has been a healthcare provider for over 25 years (Respiratory Therapist).

Cadence has the genuine love of Jesus in her heart and loves to share her faith. Her life and sustainment thereof are solely because of her faith.

Cadence suffers from bipolar disorder and is a little slow in her intellectual aptitude. Having this in mind, Cadence has experienced significant bullying at school and has been experiencing a major setback in life. Right now, she is requiring 24/7/365 monitoring and treatment. She has been pulled out of school as we are concerned about her safety and mental health. Her treatments that we have found to work are not covered by insurance, but it is what works best for her. No amount of money, or lack thereof, is worth her life. Her treatments and monetary loss per day is between $500 - $1000. With a new diagnosis of autism hovering, this will only lead to her disabilities and the outlook for her future. She has many trials ahead to lead a normal life, and we will support her every step of the way.

Chaddi really needs to medically retire and take care of herself and Cadence. However, as reported below, this is not possible.

We both have exhausted our retirement accounts, and our credit cards are maxed out. They say you need 1.5 million dollars these days in retirement for a medium class retirement. Well, ours is $0, so we are in trouble. Right now, we are just trying to be able to pay bills and make ends meet. We are in substantial need to pay some of this down so we can afford payments and healthcare alike.

Right now, everything we own is in jeopardy and our need for assistance in multiple areas is great. Please pray about our needs and contribute if you can. Thank you so much for your consideration and we pray many blessings to you, your family, and your business for any assistance that you can give.

This amount is not expected but is our dream goal. This would help us pay off a lot of medical debt and be able to afford the debts that we are currently accruing amongst personal needs. This would make things affordable for the rest of this year and as projected, next year as well. This would allow Chaddi to not be working full time and focus more on her health as well as on our daughter. This would be possible with me (Joshua) still working my 2 healthcare careers that I currently do to support our family.

This amount, by no means will go toward retirement, but will help us live and pay for things now.  If we were to receive this amount, over 3/4 of it would be gone over a 5 day period as we pay on current debt.  The remainder would help us get out of the "living pay check to pay check" and still not having enough for all the bills for approximately the next year. This, having in mind, that I, Josh, continue to work my 2 jobs.  I will do everything in my power to support my two ladies.

Asking for this help is the hardest thing I've ever done, but it is what is needed in order to properly care for them as well as our family as a whole.  I have treated, and saved, many lives over my healthcare career.  The problems that the two of them face, and that we face as a family, however, I can't fix or treat!  I, in desperation, can only pray and support.  I pray that you find it in your heart to help, care, donate, and pray for our family the way that we have cared for so many families over a combined last 50 years.

God Bless You !
