Help Bring Back PotSpace.com, An Iconic Cannabis Culture Community
PotSpace.com was once a major online social network for cannabis culture, active during the early web and MySpace era, with over 250,000 members at its peak. For many people, it was more than just a website. It was a place to be yourself, meet others, share thoughts, build profiles, join groups, write blogs, post in forums, and feel part of a real community, with music and custom profile design.
My goal is to bring PotSpace.com back, but to do it the right way!
This relaunch is not about recreating the unsafe parts of the early 2000s internet. We are not bringing back broken code, outdated scripts, security holes, spam, malware, or the problems that caused many old communities to fall apart. The goal is to rebuild the spirit of PotSpace with modern security, better privacy, mobile friendly design, and a safer experience for users.
The first major phase is securing the domain long term. PotSpace.com is a premium domain, and locking it in is not cheap. The immediate goal is to raise $2,000 to help secure the domain and protect it for the next 10 years, so it does not fall into the hands of bad actors or disappear again.
Every dollar raised will go directly back into the relaunch, including:
Domain lock in and renewal costs
Server and hosting expenses
Security and privacy protections
Website development
Email signup and community tools
Legacy member and VIP verification features
Future community features such as profiles, forums, groups, blogs, chat, and media sharing
This project will happen in phases. The first phase is the relaunch landing page, email collection, old username interest, and Legacy VIP claim requests.
From there, the community will be rebuilt step by step with clean, modern code. PotSpace.com is being relaunched independently under new domain ownership.
This project is not affiliated with the previous owner, Chris Adkins, stoners.org, Vastal, BuddyZone, or any prior ownership group.
This is not a cannabis sales site. No cannabis products are being sold. This is a 21+ cannabis culture community project focused on expression, nostalgia, connection, and rebuilding a piece of internet history.
