She is hesitant to ask for support publicly after leaving an abusive situation so I’m posting this on her behalf. Can you help a local teacher and single mom make ends meet and keep her car running?
This local educator left an abusive marriage with very little to her name and her small child to take care of. She’s worked a variety of extra jobs while teaching full time, but due to expected medical expenses and now a car that will require significant work to remain running, she’s found herself struggling to stay afloat. We’re hoping to put aside enough money to cover car repairs and potentially rent/utilities for December/January.
