My husband passed away suddenly a few years ago. We have two kids together who are now 14 & 18. Both are full time students and both have medical issues. My son is going to a Technical School to learn a trade and work with his hands and my daughter just started college in September for veterinarian technician which has been her dream since she was 10 years old. I would have thought my life would have been better by now and things would be slightly a bit easier, but that is just not the case. I am currently out of work and have applied to a few jobs that can work with my neck and back injury. I am under doctors care and I'm trying to get better as soon as possible. But most companies see me as a liability right now and are not interested in hiring me. I'm so depressed and completely stressed out. My plate is beyond full. With all my own issues and my current work situation I am left in a financial crisis. My daughter needs money for her books, uniforms and stethoscope for college. She was previously working but due to her case load at college she had to resign. We have been applying for scholarships but nothing yet to help. She doesn't drive or have a car so I drive her currently back and fourth. Why should my kids have to do without because of my issues. My son has a chronic medical condition along with other issues that requires me to be available for him at all times. He also needs uniforms for school which have been a struggle for me to provide. My fiancial crisis has the utility companies ready to shut off my services for water, sewer, electric and internet. The bank is not allowing me to go much further on my past due car loan and our stating they will be repo my vehicle. I don't have money to even grocery shop. I go to food banks every week to try and help. I just don't know what else to do at this point.... I don't have a spouse or a significant other that can help me. I have sold almost everything I can for money. If you could find it in your heart to help out in anyway my kids and I would truly appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
