Helllo everyone. Hurricane IDA hit the north east causing massive flash floodings. The house I stay at was one of the countless homes that was dmaged by the flash flooding. Thousands of doalls of damage has been caused by the flooding in our basement. We are currently without hot water as the boiler has failed due to being submerged in water for well over 5 hours.
Our wahser and dryer alos have died as they were submereged by the water. Its a very difficult situation for the homeowner, his wife, 2 year old daughter, myself and our roomammates. The basement is full of mold from the sewage being pushed into our basement
We need all the help we can get so that we can replace the hot water bolier, wahser and dryer so that we can at least have a hot shower and clean cloting while we deal with the clean up of the basement.
Anything donaiton will greatly help us in replacing those items as quickly as possible.
