Nada is the Eldest daughter and has been surrounded and involved in the agriculture practice of her family her entire life. She is the on-ground coordinator for this project and shares this message;
Deeb Al-Aaraj (Abu Waseem) is a name known to the soil and trees of Gaza. A lifelong farmer who raised livestock and planted hope, my father now faces his most difficult season. He lives in Gaza with my 24-year-old unemployed brother and 16-year-old sister, while his heart is in Egypt with his ill wife and another daughter, separated by the cruel circumstances of war.
Despite the pain of separation and forced unemployment, "Abu Waseem" has never put down his tools. He spends his days nurturing a tiny home garden, planting with love to feed those still with him. We are seeking to launch a Comprehensive Rabbit Farming Project for my father and brother—a bridge back to the dignity of labor and production.
With my father’s deep expertise and my brother’s youthful energy, this project aims to utilize Gaza’s spring greenery to produce food and income. We need $4,000 to secure cages, quality breeding stock, and safe shelter. This project is a lifeline to help cover my mother’s medical costs in Egypt, protect the family in Gaza from poverty, and give my brother a chance to build a future amidst the ruins.
