I am a mother and grandmother who is humbling myself and asking for your help to get to South Carolina.
I am writing to you asking for a small donation of $20 or more to help me reach my goal of $10,000. Donations received will help pay for the Move, Gas, Rent and Deposits.
My son who is an Air Force Veteran has now found himself a single parent. He has fallen on hard times due to the Covid 19 Pandemic initially and now coupled with the economic challenges.
In the past I have raised money for school supplies for our children here in America so that they would have the necessary tools they need to succeed and be productive young adults, for they are our country's future.
Now I find myself asking you for help to help me relocate to SC to help raise my grandchildren ( Ages 4,7 & 9). Even though I am doing all I can at 60 years old, it still seems to not be enough. The struggle is real!
My son works two jobs. And I work one full-time job, he lives in South Carolina and I live in Texas. It is my goal to move to South Carolina and help him, that's what mothers do, but I can't do it alone. Childcare is $925 for three kids. I hope to relieve him of some of that burden.
Hard times forces us to make hard decisions, and oftentimes our children suffer from those hard choices. It forces them to grow up fast and not allowed to be children.
