Rooted but Rising is a community-centered mentorship initiative dedicated to creating a safe, uplifting, and supportive environment for young girls. Inspired by my own journey overcoming adversity, this program was created to ensure young women feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered within their communities. Through mentorship opportunities, workshops, outreach events, and confidence-building activities, Rooted but Rising aims to help girls develop resilience, self-worth, leadership skills, and a strong support system they can rely on throughout life.
The funds raised through Spotfund will directly support the growth and development of Rooted but Rising by helping provide materials, event space costs, mentorship resources, community outreach efforts, and future programming for young girls in our area.
