Cynthia Kesler is a wife, mother of 4, grandmother to 18 grandchildren, and friend to many. In recent years she was diagnosed with heart failure, and after consultations with five different cardiologist has received the news that a heart transplant is her final option for recovering from her condition. Over these last few years daily life has become increasingly difficult, with Cynthia's health declining significantly. All Cynthia wants is to feel well enough to do basic day to day activities and enjoy time with her family and friends without the significant and exhausting effort it currently requires of her; to regain a better quality of life.

In order to be accepted for a heart transplant, there are many requirements that Cynthia must meet. One of these is to show that she can afford the portion of the surgery and medications that she will be responsible for. The estimated out of pocket cost for the surgery alone is almost $10,000, with the medications being a lifelong, monthly expense. Any contributions that you make will be saved for this purpose, as well as any lost wages Tim, her husband, will incur when he takes time off of work to help care for Cynthia in the long days of recovery after the surgery.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about, and <span;>consider contributing to, the <span;>cause to help bring Cynthia back to good health. It is appreciated more than you know. Whether you can contribute monetarily or not, please do take the time to pray for Cynthia and our efforts to raise funds for her surgery and recovery.

God bless.

Today I lost my balance after my BP dropped upon standing and I hit our end-table. I ended up with 7 stitches above my right eye and 2 stitches on the bridge of my nose and a stery strip on the left side of my nose.

while at the hospital they now here a crackling sound when I breathe indicating fluid build up in the air sacs of my lungs.

heart failure sucks, but with your prayers, shares and donations, I will get my new heart a win the battles along the way.

Mom got a call from her doctor today, about the results of the stress test she underwent a couple of weeks ago. The test results were positive, which means that she and the doctors will move forward with the transplant evaluation, meeting with physiologist and social workers, discussing further the financial requirements, beginning the testing (blood and tissue), and scheduling a PET scan to check for any signs of cancer or other issues. In other words, she will begin the process of getting her name of the transplant list right away. The doctor categorized the stage of her heart failure as 4 out of 7 (1 is the worst). She should receive a call on Monday to begin scheduling all the necessary appointments.

Thank you again to everyone who has shown support. Please continue to share this fundraiser, pray, and offer words of encouragement. It is all appreciated so much! Yesterday we surpassed $3000! It is such a blessing!

Thank you, thank you!

Had my first test done in the evaluation for a new heart.

My clost for this test after insurance is $984.00.

Nuclear Catfiac Stress Test

They did 3 pictures today.
Gave me shot of radioactive dye and had me drink water to help it go through my system. Then had me sit for a bit before taking the first picture.
Went back and layer on the hospital bed, they gave me a second shot to deactivate the dye and a cup of coffee, hooked me up to an ekg. When they did the second shot I suddenly got short of breath, was hard to breath and/or talk, massive headache (still have a little one) and chest discomfort and pressure. the female tech went to the exam room and the two techs were talking about my vitals. The male tech came and asked if I had my nitro with me and asked me to take one to see how it worked on my vitals. Then took the second picture, had me lay in my stomach and took a third picture., then put me in a wheelchair and took me downstairs to my car.

I thank you all for your continued prayers and shared

God bless. Mom (Cynthia)
