Hello everyone,

My family 4 and I have been going thru a rough time this yr.It all first started when myself was in a car accident on June 5th 2022.2 guys were racing on 17 toward Aldis and I was coming from Walmart direction.1st car decided he was going to try and make it to 7-11 before I got there but he was a little to late.I hit his back passenger end and my front end  and wheels got messed up.It was declared totaled a few days later.Luckily my 2 youngest babies and I didn't sustain serious injuries at a hit at 60mph.The effect of this accident led us down to 1 working vehicle. Then on November 7th 2022, my husband Kenneth Moore Jr was involved in a accident and his truck is totaled as well. His injuries included a gashed open knee, and back, shoulder, all over body pain. The good Lord upstairs was definitely looking out for him and our family. If it wasn't for him  wearing his seatbelt, he would not be here today. He will be out of work for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.Due to myself not working a full time and not having vehicle ,no income will be coming in at the moment.Otherwise,I am reaching out to the community and friends of the family, if anyone would be willing to help make donations toward my family's well being..A possible used car, rent, utilities, baby essentials is what the donations will be going toward.Thank you very much in advance for everyone who has already or will help.

Sincerely,

Stacy Moore

On Wednesday Dec 7th,Kenny fell out of our bed face down in his sleep. As he woken up from this sleep he realized his bad knee was bleeding steadily..I helped grabbed some gauze and helped him to try to contain the bleeding.i told him "I think you need to go to the hospital to get stitches again." We called 911 and when the paramedics arrived and looked at the wound, they too decided he was going to need stitches again to close the wound up the way it ripped back open from the middle all the way down.He ended up going to Chowan hospital again but this time they doctor stitched it correctly and tighter so he didn't have a gap in the wound like last time from Albemarle hospital doc did.He left the hospital at 1am Thursday morning Dec 8th and was brought home by Kevin Overton. He waited for him in the hospital parking lot til he was discharged because we couldn't find anyone else for a ride home.As of Friday night his chest and stomach is still bulging from the hemotoma and his stitches in knee is still intact but a little painful from the tightness of the stitches. As of now it doesn't seem like he will be going back to work til after the new year. Will update in a few days.

If it doesn't get worse,it keeps on going....on Nov 18,this past Friday Kenny went to chowan hospital by ambulance.he had a swollen pain in his chest muscle.Last week when he went to Chowan 2 days after his accident they found he had a small internal bleed in his shoulder.well we believe it had escalated which lead to Chowan saying he had hematoma, or active bleed in his pectoral muscle. They decided to fly him out to Greenville to a better trauma team in case they needed to cut him to drain the blood out..He's been stable thru the night and wrapped his chest in ace bandage to stop the internal bleed for now.As of today sat 19th, they are going to keep overnight again and see what happens.
