After retiring from Walmart in June, I had a new job lined up that seemed promising, but unfortunately, it was given to someone else at the last minute. Now, I find myself in a tough spot, searching for work while trying to manage the growing stack of bills on the kitchen table. In Pueblo, where I've built my life, finding opportunities has been a bit of a challenge lately. My children and I are doing our best to stay positive, but the worry sometimes feels overwhelming.
Each day brings a mix of hope and uncertainty as I fill out job applications and wait for calls back. The financial strain is unrelenting, but I know I'm not alone in this. It warms my heart to think about the kindness that exists out there, supporting folks like me through tough times. I’m grateful for any help as I navigate this hurdle, aiming to provide a stable home for my kids once more.
