Aloha Family & Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is JazzaRae Kahalewai, and I’m 10 years old. I play flag football for Rose Gold Hawaii in Ewa Beach, Oahu. I’m excited to share that our team has qualified to compete in the FIRST Flag Football Games at the AAU Jr. Olympics in Houston, Texas this year!
I am also incredibly honored to be part of Hawaii's first all-girls flag football team to qualify for the AAU Jr. Olympics. At the beginning of this year, Hawaii became the 12th state to have Girls Flag Football become a sanctioned high school sport. My passion for this sport has continued to grow as I have been playing flag football since I was 7 years of age. Knowing that I will have a continual path to compete in this sport during my years in high school is a blessing.
This achievement to compete in the Jr Olympics is a huge milestone, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of my coaches, team parents, and, most importantly, my amazing teammates.
As you can imagine, competing in such a prestigious event comes with significant travel expenses, including airfare, lodging, and other related costs. To make this opportunity a reality, I’m reaching out for financial assistance to help cover these expenses.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and would bring me one step closer to representing myself, my team, my home of Hawaii and all of you at this incredible event. Your support would not only help me attend the competition but also empower me to give my best on the field.
Thank you so much for considering a donation. I’m deeply grateful for your support and for the amazing group of family and friends who are backing me up on this exciting journey!
With heartfelt thanks and Mahalo,
JazzaRae “Jazzy” Kahalewai
