My name is Jeffrey Simpson. I am a self made entrepreneur that has completed of $3bn of Real Estate Investments and Developments in almost 25 years. This includes buildings in NYS, Miami, CA and also rehab of workforce housing in the Southeast.
My investors (over 100 individuals, family offices, and fund managers of $150M) and I have been robbed by illegitimate partners who used and abused the NYS Court system to circumvent proper contracts. They paid their way through the system with fraud, malicious intentions, perjury, theft, and the like.
I have Directors and Officers insurance that should protect me (and my team) for defense on these issues but they (Great American Insurance) shut down when they were sued by my horrendous partners.
They have ruined my good name, my reputation, my business and most importantly illustrates that it will be impossible to do business in NYS with contracts that will be enforced when the going gets tough.
Most notably I now learn that the NYS Judges cannot be impartial when there are for hire lawyers that can control their appointments. This is very real and there is active legislation being considered in Albany.
My purpose here is to raise capital to start a campaign to raise awareness and fight the corruption. I will be thrilled to clear my name but this will also pave the way for the system to be reliable again.
I have worked with (ethical) lawyers and lobbyists in my career and the funds will be going to those folks to accomplish these goals.
