Hi everyone, my name is Austin. I’m 19 years old, living in Texas, and working toward a goal that means everything to me: moving to Germany this winter to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Business.
For the past year, I’ve been working long hours at Walmart, saving every dollar possible to make this transition a reality. While I’ve been able to save enough to fund a few short visits to Germany—where my girlfriend lives and where I truly feel at home—the upfront costs for the student visa, relocation, and mandatory financial blocks are incredibly high. Coming from a family without much financial leeway, crossing this final finish line on my own has proven to be a massive challenge.
My goal is to start my studies this winter semester. This move isn't just about relocating; it’s about building a life, getting my education, and finally being where I feel happiest.
