Meet Windsor. He's my latest second chance senior rescued only hours away from euthanasia. Windsor has made tremendous progress in the last week, but this sweet pup needs a little more than TLC. I thought his eye sores were just buildup of typical poodle crusty eyes, but after taking him to the vet I learned that they were actually abscesses from the worst case of rotten teeth I've ever seen.
I received a quote for his stage 4 teeth cleaning of roughly $1000. His blood testing, X-rays, sedation, cleaning, and medications are all included in this estimate. It excludes the cost of extractions. ( I increased the goal to $1500, as I suspect he will need many pulled)
As a graduate student working less than part time, I need your help. This sweet boy deserves to be thriving after a life of neglect and simply surviving. He practically clings to me, it almost seems as though he is terrified that the TLC may vanish. 😢
