My Journey:

As someone who has personally faced significant challenges, I understand the importance of support and connection. After enduring a seven-year incarceration, I overcame many traumatic experiences that have shaped my life. During my time in prison, I was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and bipolar depression, conditions that stem from both my environment and my history. Growing up with a mother who struggled with mental illness and drug abuse, I witnessed firsthand the impact of addiction and mental health struggles on families. Her manic episodes, often drug-induced, created an unstable childhood that left lasting scars.

Through resilience and determination, I have worked hard to heal and rebuild my life. Now, I am passionate about giving back to the community and helping others navigate their own challenges. This campaign is not only about raising funds; it’s about fostering understanding and support for mental health and addiction issues that affect so many in our community.
