Admitting I need help is something I never imagined I'd do, but here I am, opening up to you all. I'm facing a tough road ahead with serious medical issues affecting my liver and kidneys. Already, I've endured the removal of my entire colon and had a substitute created internally. The daily pain is indescribable, each day testing my resolve to stay strong for my family. Living in Horton, Kansas, my community has always been a source of strength, and that's why I’m reaching out now. My daughter, who is disabled with her special needs, relies on me working but my condition has made it impossible to work at the moment. Trying to balance medical bills with everyday expenses has become an overwhelming task. Specialist appointments are critical, yet choosing which bills to pay and which to defer weighs heavily on us. It's a constant struggle that has been mentally and emotionally taxing. The decisions I face aren’t easy, and it’s tough knowing others are going through their own battles. Swallowing my pride, I am reaching out to those who might be able to offer some support. It's not easy to ask, especially understanding that everyone faces their own challenges. I am grateful for any considerations and want to extend my heartfelt thanks to those who can lend a hand without adding to their own burdens.
