December 2021 brought unexpected and life-changing news for the Sherley family. Leah’s diagnosis of breast cancer began a long hard road of recovery for her as she fights her way back to strength and health. Unfortunately, their insurance only partially covers their medical bills. Traveling to another city for hospital visits, surgeries, doctor appointments, and chemotherapy, in addition to medications, supplements and other treatments, has taken its toll on their finances. Devon, being self-employed, has had to miss work as he travels with Leah and helps care for her and their five kids. They are now in a position where they need help to pay the bills and care for their family.  Although they are grateful for the tremendous emotional support system God has blessed them with, through their family and community, I am humbly asking, on their behalf, for additional financial support. The need is significant, and they would be further blessed and thankful for any help that comes their way. They are trusting God and are hopeful for a good outcome, but the journey is not yet over.
